Junius hour

The junior syndicate have started doing Junius Hour once a week when they are given the opportunity to follow a passion and create something to share with others.  They had to brainstorm ideas and wonderings then make a plan.  Each session they reflect on what they have done and what they will do in the next session to improve what they are doing.  We have children building a boat, creating before and after Titanic models,  wearable art, a volcano, various books, a robot dog and cardboard cat.  The result is a very engaged class!

  1. It it is very interesting as a parent to hear the discussion at home then see the work being carried out on a regular basis when I do the school drop off or pick up. The class sure do have great inspiration and are working on some awesome projects. Look forward to seeing the Junius Hour develop as the children become more familiar with it.
